Adv. Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme held
NEATEHUB Successfully Concludes 5-Day Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (A-ESDP)
NEATEHUB in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India hosted a 5 day residential Advanced Entrepreneuship and Skill Development Programme (A-ESDP). The programme was inaugurated by Hon'ble VC of Assam Agricultural University Dr. Bidyut Chandan Deka and the Director of Research Dr. Sanjay Kumar Chetia, NEATEHUB Directors - Dr. Danish Tamuly and Dr. Luna Dutta Baruah, and the Chief Operating Officer, Bidyut Bikash Rajkonwar were also present.
20 selected grassroot entrepreneurs from different districts of Assam are being trained in different aspects of entrepreneurship, including funding, bookkeeping, social media among others. The program was held from 24th - 28th March, 2025 in NEATEHUB, Assam Agricultural University. NEATEHUB, Assam Agricultural University (AAU), successfully completed the 5-Day Residential Advanced Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (A-ESDP), funded by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The programme provided 20 aspiring entrepreneurs from across Assam with invaluable knowledge and hands-on skills in agri-business, innovation, and value chain development. Over five days, participants gained insights into advanced entrepreneurship concepts, financial management, digital marketing, and market linkage strategies, empowering them to scale their ventures effectively.
The programme concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony to acknowledge the participants' dedication and efforts. The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Mamoni Das, Dean, College of Community Science, along with Dr. Danish Tamuly and Dr. Luna Dutta Baruah, Directors of NEATEHUB, Bidyut Bikash Rajkonwar, Chief Operating Officer of NEATEHUB, Prajwalita Neog, Business Executive of NEATEHUB, and other NEATEHUB staff members. Their presence underscored NEATEHUB’s commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
The successful completion of this programme marks another milestone in NEATEHUB’s journey to empower agripreneurs and drive sustainable growth in Assam’s agricultural sector. The knowledge and skills imparted during these five days are expected to create a lasting impact, enabling participants to transform their ideas into scalable ventures and contribute meaningfully to the agricultural ecosystem.
