North East Agriculture Technology Entrepreneurs Hub (NEATEHUB), a section 8 company under Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat is inviting applications for Project Lead (Part-time) to implement the Phase -II of a three-year rural enterprise incubation program under the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM).

In this program, NEATEHUB will incubate up to 250 rural enterprises across Assam, focusing on innovation, enterprise scaling, market access, and long-term income generation in rural areas.


Terms and conditions of the appointment:

  1. The nature of appointment is contractual and co-terminus with the project.
  2. The appointment will be initially for a period of one year with a probation period of three months. Further extension will be based on review and assessment of performance.
  3. The positions will require field travel extensively and expenses for travel will be paid separately.
  4. The joining date will be decided based on the confirmation from the funding agency. Candidates who can join at a short notice are preferred. Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to attend personal interview (PI) at a short notice in Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. Experience Requirements

  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in setting up and/or managing a manufacturing business in the food processing or handicrafts sector.
  2. Must have served in a leadership role with responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the business unit.
  3. Strong expertise in overall business operations, particularly:
  4. Sales and marketing
  5. Financial management and business accounts
  6. Enterprise growth and scaling
  7. Extensive industry network and stakeholder connections.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide strategic direction and overall guidance to the project team.
  2. Support enterprise incubation and business development initiatives.
  3. Interface with Government departments, industry experts, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  4. Facilitate partnerships, market linkages, and business expansion opportunities.
  5. Mentor and guide incubated enterprises towards sustainable growth.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess any of the following:

  1. Post-Graduation in:
  2. Business Management
  3. Development Studies
  4. Rural Management
  5. Economics
  6. Accounts
  7. Related disciplines


OR

  1. Professional qualifications such as:
  2. Chartered Accountant (CA)
  3. ICWA/CMA
  4. Equivalent professional credentials


Annual Emoluments

₹10,00,000 per year (Consolidated)
